Imagine a newborn baby. Tiny, innocent, and full of wonder. When we look at that baby, it’s hard to imagine them as anything but pure. But here’s a big question: Are we, as humans, born good? Or do we learn to be good as we grow? Maybe we’re not good or bad at birth but shaped by the world around us.

The Blank Slate: Are We Born Neutral?

Let’s start with a simple idea. What if humans are born as blank slates, neither good nor bad? This idea comes from philosophers like John Locke, who believed that we’re shaped by experience. When we’re born, our minds are like empty notebooks. The people we meet, the things we learn, and the choices we make fill those pages.
