How Gaslighting is Used to Hide the Truth in Court

Proof that is either denied or trivialized, smearing the reputations of witnesses and victims, calling them into question, and attempting to undermine their credibility are all techniques that are used by convicts and their attorneys to argue their innocence. They do this by promoting their moral character and the positive contributions they have made to society, and by downplaying the severity of their offenses.

The use of deceit, equivocation, and circumvention, the presentation of fabricated evidence, the presentation of dishonest experts, the presentation of false witnesses, and the blockage of crucial truth are all examples of legal tactics that may be used.

The fact that these events took place in court, the fact that the police and investigators are able to gather evidence, and the fact that the prosecutors are able to figure out the criminal’s motivations and method of operation and prove it, all of these things contribute to the fact that we are able to prove that gaslighting actually took place; otherwise, we would not have been able to convict them.
