The Hidden Downfall of Covert Narcissists Over Time

There is little doubt that the state of covert narcissists is one that deteriorates with time, although in a way that is gradual.

Their behaviors do not necessarily manifest themselves in an outward manner; rather, they begin to collapse on the inside first, which leads to them being more irrational, manipulative, and spiteful as time goes on.

To what end? This is due to the fact that life is never straightforward.

Several positions have been eliminated.

The failure of relationships is inevitable.

The affects of becoming older are readily apparent.

As a consequence of these experiences, the vast majority of us could go through a period of personal growth, humility, or an increase in our understanding of ourselves.

To compensate for the loss of control that they perceive, covert narcissists are more likely to participate in the opposite behavior, which includes shifting blame, participating in more manipulation, and acquiring a stronger sense of entitlement. This is done in order to compensate for the fact that they think they have lost control.

They grow more concentrated and harmful when they are left for a longer amount of time than they were first contained. When compared to a pot of water that is put on a flame and starts to boil dry, they are comparable to the situation.
