When you are with a Narcissist, all your flaws will become magnified because narcissism lacks the ability to see anyone’s realistic way. They automatically devalue. When you’re away, they kinda forget your flaws and re-idealize you again.

So the whole assumption here is built on Object Constancy.

According to this theory:

Object Constancy comes and goes. Like my salary does? Or maybe like the electric current in fucking Beirut.

Or the angels of object constancy visit the narcissist monthly, and bless them with it.
