The Illusion of Happiness: The Narcissist’s Trap
Santa-claus is a narcissist.
Short lived happiness isn’t truly happiness. Narcissists and non narcissists are always looking for happiness, but the real question should be:
What is happiness?
Along the narcissistic spectrum happiness will vary according to how dysfunctional one can be.
- For some it could be a tent under some bridge and a dog.
- For some who are more functional, it could be fame, approvals, and attention.
- For some its money, drugs, sex, and alcohol.
- For others it’s the illusion of a family whom he can control, ruin, and Empty his bags of hate on them.
- Even more for some it could be position of power ( Leader, Doctor, High rank officer, President).
- The most dangerous one is the santa-claus…. The unconditional giver, he’s a narcissist too, I think he should spend more time with his family and stop fucking triangulating them with the kids of world. That’s not happiness, that’s absurdity.
Is that really happiness? Living up to external validation, affirmation, approval, as a daily food, and living up to what others may think of you and mooching for some admiration or empathy and living for the fake epiphany of poor you, Ohh…
