The Insecurity Behind Narcissistic Behavior
I personally don’t believe that they all are bad deep down within, but I do believe that they’re all incredibly insecure. Narcissists feel defective and cope with underlying insecurity and shame by repressing those feelings and adopting a sick twisted delusion of superiority and entitlement that they constantly assert at the expense of those around them. Deep down inside is someone who had or has a heart but choose to display bad tendencies towards others especially those closest to them. What they do with their intentions is what makes them bad deep down within. Most pathological narcissists do not relate to others due to their lack of empathy, and they constantly and consistently manipulating/abusing/using others, which makes them bad deep down within. After the initial positive impression fades away then their true face of a nasty human-being often emerges. Then you’re faced with being stabbed in the back, exploited, used, manipulated, betrayed, and eventually abandoned once they have no further use for you or they become bored. Their false charm betrays an inability (or unwillingness) to connect with people genuinely as human beings which can come across as atrocious.
