The Journey is Circular

Imagine you’re standing at the edge of a calm lake. The water’s surface is smooth, reflecting the sky above. Then, you toss a small stone into the water, and watch as ripples spread outward, each one connected to the next, creating a pattern that seems endless. It’s easy to see how one small action can create waves that reach out farther than we expect. Life, in many ways, works in a similar way. It’s full of interconnected cycles and patterns — small moments building on each other, repeating, and ultimately coming together to create something bigger than we can often see in the moment.

When we look at life this way, we begin to understand that the journey isn’t linear — there’s no single destination we’re racing toward. Instead, life is circular. We move through phases, patterns, and cycles that overlap, repeat, and evolve. Just like the seasons change each year — spring, summer, autumn, winter — life has its own seasons, each offering us new lessons and experiences. Our personal growth, relationships, careers, and even our emotional lives move through these cycles, each time bringing us back to where we started, but a little wiser, stronger, and more prepared for what’s to come.
