Toxic Shame.

Hate — VS. — Enlightenment.

Everyone experiences shame, but shame is different than guilt, guilt is more about things I have done, while shame is more like who I am. One can be ashamed not only from his own nefarious deeds but also from things he hasn’t done either like his color, height, looks, feelings, etc.

Shame addresses more who I am.

.

This is a weak statement that has nothing to support it.

Building up assumptions and embracing such theories as “Narcissism is a shame-based behavior” is a poor one.

Shame is a result and not a reason.

But what kind of shame?

Normally, Shame is a stage in building up our consciousness spectrum.

In this paradigm of consciousness We experience the following, by order of influence from low to high.

Shame — apathy — grief — fear — desire — anger — pride — courage — neutrality — willingness — acceptance — reason — love- joy — peace — enlightenment.

Dr. David R. Hawkins’ scale.
