The Power of Self-Control: A Stoic Perspective
The Power of Will: A Stoic Perspective
4 years ago I stumbled upon an ancient philosophy called “stoicism” and I have been practicing it since then.
Directly or Indirectly, I feel connected to this philosophy while making decisions in my life, in moments of happiness and sorrow, and while doing my actions.
Walking, thinking, in my anger, and during my silence, somehow stoicism plays a part and this philosophy has been playing this part for the past 4 years.
But here is what this philosophy can do for you to make you a more happy, more stable, more balanced, and more satisfied person.
Well, nothing special. It will do the same as it did to me if you only listen, follow, and practice. These three simple steps can lead you to happiness.
Happiness? Yes. This path of stoic virtue can turn your actions into happiness, your decisions into happiness, and your words into happiness.
Your walks into happiness, your tears into happiness, your emotional imbalances into happiness, your failures into happiness.
This simple path can turn your everything into happiness only if happiness is not something luxury for you.
