The Sudden Silence: A Medium Account Deleted

Let me share something with you. On November 11, there was a writer on Medium named Ami Miller. She used to comment on my new blog posts every day, offering different opinions, perspectives, and advice. She had also followed me, and I had followed her back. She had around 2,000 followers.

Yesterday, I was active on Medium the entire day, but I noticed that she didn’t comment on my post. I thought maybe she would reply later, so I checked my following list, and her profile was still there. I assumed she’d respond eventually.

However, by evening, when there was still no reply, I randomly decided to check her profile — and I saw that Medium had deleted her account! I was shocked and thought, What just happened?

I’m now genuinely scared of Medium’s algorithm. How could they remove such a genuine writer from their platform?
