What Narcissists Want When They Come Back: Sex, Money, or Validation?
Why do narcissists go back or return in always predicated on what they want or need. Narcissists, and emotional abusers are very confident you will take them back. They recycle their victims like plastic containers, products, and supplies. They always do things with a motive, there is an underlying motive as to why they are returning. Narcissists are emotionally unavailable, so they do not want you back, because they missed you. They may have missed what you had to offer, but not you as a person. They never live up to their words unless it’s going to benefit them in some way. You didn’t exist to them until they decided to reappear, and this is due to what they want or need from you.
There is always a motive when you’re dealing with narcissists or a predatory user. They go back when the supply the left you for has discarded them, and they have no other victim to turn to you except you. They go back because they could be wanting sex, money, attention, validation. They also could be jobless, down on their luck, facing legal problems, and running from a crime or someone wanting to seek revenge on them. Most times they return out of curiosity to see if you have moved on, or if your life has upgraded (new look, new job, new home, increase in salary. So, they return to enjoy and capitalize on your growth in life. This is why no contact is so important and to block them, so they have no access to your progress. When a narcissist returns it is less about you, and more about them.
Why they go back is not as important as to if you’re willing to grant them access into your life again to be used, abused, misled, and manipulated.
