When the narcissist stops all contact with you this would be considered a discard or ghosting. Is it finally over, not necessarily. Social abusers do not normally provide closure, they normally just leave by going no contact. Sometimes they return if things do not work out with the new person that they’re pursuing and deceiving. Stopping all contact and communication with you is their unhealthy way of communication.

When they stop all contact, they are getting their narcissistic supply elsewhere from someone else. They are grooming a new source of supply, target, or prey. They are busy love bombing someone else the same way they love bombed you during the beginning of the relationship. Narcissists lack empathy, they don’t often care about your feelings unless it serves a purpose in their life.
